Privacy policy
Last updated 28 September 2026. Applies to myoheat.com and the MyoHeat apps for iOS and Android.
In short: MyoHeat has no accounts, sets no cookies and shows no ads. Your camera video and your training log never leave your device. The website records anonymous usage (which controls you use, for how long, and any script errors) to learn what to improve; the apps send nothing at all.

Camera mode
Camera mode tracks your body with a pose model (MediaPipe Pose Landmarker) that runs on your device, in the browser or in the app. The video from your camera, or a video file you open, is processed frame by frame in memory and is never uploaded, recorded or stored. Only joint angles and the resulting muscle loads exist after tracking, and only on your screen. The apps ask for camera permission the first time you start camera mode; you can revoke it at any time in your device's settings.
Your training log and settings
What you record in the Log tab (exercises, sets, reps, weights, dates, and your body mass and proportions at the time) is kept in your browser's or the app's own storage on your device, and nowhere else. It is never sent to us or anyone. Clearing the site's data in your browser, or uninstalling the app, deletes it. Removing an entry in the Log tab deletes that entry.
What the website records

| Visitor key | A short hash of your IP address and browser type with a random value that is replaced every day. It lets us count unique visitors per day. Your IP address itself is never stored, and the key cannot link your visits across days. |

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding, in aggregate, how MyoHeat is used. The events stay on our own server, in a database run by our hosting provider, Railway (railway.com), are used only to improve MyoHeat, and are kept for up to 24 months. Because they can't be linked to you, we can't find or delete "your" events, but you can ask us anything about them.
The apps
The iOS and Android apps contain the whole of MyoHeat, including the pose model, and run offline. They send no usage events, contain no analytics or advertising SDKs, and collect no data. Links you share from the app point to myoheat.com.
Third parties
- Hosting: Railway serves the website; like any web server, its infrastructure handles your IP address to deliver the page.
- Fonts: the website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it delivers them.
- App stores: Apple and Google handle downloads and crash reports under their own privacy policies.
Children
MyoHeat is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or state laws in the US), you can ask what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted, and complain to your data protection authority. Since MyoHeat holds nothing that identifies you, most requests can be answered quickly. Write to support@myoheat.com.
